At Baby Beam, we are committed to offering jewelry crafted from authentic materials and held to the highest standards of quality. This Warranty Policy sets forth the terms and conditions governing claims relating to manufacturing defects in our products.
Warranty for manufacturing defects
All jewelry sold by Baby Beam is covered by a one (1) year warranty against manufacturing defects, effective from the date the order is delivered.
A manufacturing defect is defined as any flaw resulting from the production, assembly, or finishing process that affects the integrity or functionality of the jewelry under normal conditions of use.
Each warranty claim will be evaluated individually to determine whether it qualifies as a manufacturing defect covered under this Warranty Policy.
Materials and authenticity
Baby Beam jewelry is crafted using the materials described in each product listing.
Pieces made in gold are crafted from solid 18-karat gold (18K). We guarantee the authenticity of the gold used in our pieces for life.
Baby Beam also guarantees the authenticity of the natural precious and semi-precious gemstones used in our jewelry, unless the product description expressly states otherwise.
Jewelry or gemstones that include a gemological certificate will be delivered with the corresponding certificate whenever indicated in the product description.
If a gemological certificate is not included or specified in the product description, the customer may request an additional certification before or after purchase to verify characteristics such as quality, origin, treatments, stabilization, coatings or other enhancements commonly recognized within the gemstone industry. Additional certification may require extra processing time and additional costs, which will be communicated to the customer for approval in advance.
All The Vault creations include an international gemological certificate.
Verification of authenticity
All warranty claims are subject to the physical inspection of the jewelry.
Baby Beam reserves the right to reject any claim where there is reasonable evidence that the jewelry has been substituted, altered, tampered with, modified or exchanged after its original sale.
The authenticity of materials, components, gemstones, metals and any other elements will be verified before any warranty-related decision is made.
The replacement, alteration or modification of any original component of the jewelry, including gemstones, metals or structural elements, will automatically void this warranty.
Baby Beam may use reference photographs, production records, technical specifications, internal documentation, gemological certificates and other quality control records created during the manufacturing process to verify the identity and authenticity of the jewelry submitted for warranty evaluation.
Warranty exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by impacts, drops or accidents.
- Improper, negligent or unintended use of the jewelry.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Scratches, deformation or deterioration resulting from everyday use
- Damage caused by contact with perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals, salt water, swimming pools or corrosive substances.
- Repairs, adjustments or modifications performed by third parties not authorized by Baby Beam.
- Total or partial loss of the jewelry.
- Loss of gemstones, components or accessories resulting from impacts, accidents or handling after delivery.
- Theft or loss due to criminal acts.
- Damage caused by improper storage.
- Damage caused by failure to follow product care and maintenance recommendations.
Natural characteristics of gemstones and materials
Natural gemstones, pearls and other natural materials may exhibit inherent variations, including differences in color, transparency, inclusions, veining, texture or pattern.
These natural characteristics are unique to each material and do not constitute manufacturing defects.
Warranty claims
To submit a warranty claim, customers must contact Baby Beam through our official communication channels and provide:
- Purchaser's name.
- Order number.
- Detailed description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of the jewelry.
When necessary, Baby Beam may request that the jewelry be returned for physical inspection.
Resolution of warranty claims
If a warranty claim is approved, Baby Beam may, at its sole discretion and depending on the circumstances of the case:
- Repair the jewelry.
- Replace the jewelry with an equivalent piece, where reasonably possible.
- Perform the technical adjustments necessary to correct the manufacturing defect.
The appropriate remedy will be determined by Baby Beam based on the nature of the claim and the availability of materials or components.
Jewelry care and inspection
Baby Beam recommends periodically inspecting the condition of gemstone settings, mountings and other structural elements to ensure the jewelry remains in optimal condition.
Baby Beam jewelry designed for babies and children must always be used under the supervision and responsibility of an adult. Customers are responsible for regularly inspecting the jewelry and discontinuing its use immediately if any signs of wear, damage or conditions that could compromise the child’s safety are observed.
